Is this handle usable?

Will this handle be usable? Or did I get ripped off on eBay? The pics show no cracks in the eBay listing, but just opened it and took the pic today.

Looks like it runs pretty far up the handle. I wouldn't hang it.

Hopefully they accept returns... that's too bad man. Whoever it is isn't going to do well trying to rip people off.

Thats not good! Sometimes people get a little too uptight about "perfect" handles, but in this case it's clear.

I sure did! It wasn't immediately apparent to me that it was in fact the same haft. It must've cracked in storage or shipping. I was too quick to impugn the seller, my bad. It appears they accept returns so all should be well!

Anybody offering semib finished handles like this? This Hathaway head has a huge eye. Would like to make one out of locust but have been wanting to do that for over a year and still hadn't even started that route .

Was -21 here this morning but none of my handles in the garage cracked, going to be colder next week, sent seller a message. He is offering a refund but like i told him, it left him in good condition. May just keep as a template item.

Just need it function and fit the head. Doesn't need to be perfect. Going to be a used implement once it got wood to hold.
