Is this hatchet a "TTKW HANDMADE" or just "handmade"?

A junk store find, I'm not sure what I've got. The condition is extraordinary, with barely a blemish or speck of rust. The head slides about 1/16th of an inch on the haft, likely due to wood shrinkage. The hang is original, with no signs of any tinkering over the years. There's no evidence of any glue from a paper label on the head or the haft, and the grain orientation is absolutely text-book. So what can I conclude from a simple "HANDMADE" mark? Thanks, T-A.

I have no clue, I've just gotta say that it's gorgeous and an excellent find.
That haft is extraordinary.

I have never seen that “hand made” marking from Kelly. But kickory is right that is an amazing looking little hatchet. Beautiful handle and head has great patina. That is real patina not rust with oil on it haha. What an awesome find!!!

I have found a picture of hatchet with same maker's mark. The shape of worthpoint item reminds AATco Hubbard's Full Concave Lippincott hatchet. Also, AATco had axes made by Jamestown Axe Co labeled The Hand Made Axe. The placement of maker's mark on both hatchets is little unusual, possibly leaving space for a paper label on opposite side.

Looks like a 1 1/4 or 1 1/2 lb hunters hatchet? With the Champion line I see just the single stamp on the poll also.
Great condition..

Thanks for all the input. Here's another similar hatchet I found by searching the ATco ... name: http://woodtrekker.blogspot.com/2012/08/kelly-axe-manufacturing-guest-post-by.html
It tells the history of the Kelly company and shows a picture of a very similar hatchet with the Kelly name on the off-side of the head. While the "HANDMADE" name is not there, the font and the location of the logo are similar to my hatchet. I'm not sure how to interpret that along with the rest of the info. T-A

So what is the finish on this hatchet of mine? Is it blued like a gun would be? That's what it looks like to me, anyway.

boy's size axes

and little different wording for hatchets
