A knife shape that looks like the old Spyderco CHINESE. I had one years ago, lost it.

Not sure what you're after exactly but the Fox Chilin F8 and the Vosteed Nightshade Shilin have that similar blade shape.
I used to have almost every Spyderco Chinese model, it was one of my favorites.

I just got a Nightshade. I can see how it might scratch the same itch.

Beyond a day in pocket, I took my Nightshade apart for inspection and quality lubrication. There was a little gunk from the factory along the base of the lock-bar cutout but overall, it was pretty clean. It seems well-made and looks like Kizer was the OEM. The action and lock-up are good. The blade is wonderfully slicey.

I got the flipper version in G-10. The hole-only versions look a little fancier in Micarta with a brass pivot collar. Here is mine with a pan of brownies I had cooling.

Not sure if you'd want to pay the premium, but there are a number of the Lum Chinese on ebay right now..

If not I will 2nd Chronovore Chronovore about the Vosteed. Great little knife for the price..
