I know, I know. Everyone roll their eyes. :rolleyes: Did you see the auctions put up recently? Three TGLB versions OBVIOUSLY being sold by the same person yet each one is listed by a different user name. And a FBM, MS, HG55's, etc... also with the same style of pic with same background but yet another seller name. Since it seems like shady stuff, I assume LK has something to do with it.

I wasn't really around when LK was around. What's the story with that guy? An objective account would be best.
 
He is an a$$hole who took advantage of alot of people. Only thought of himself and personal gain. Sorry not an objective account. Look up some of the stuff on him. Make's me sick to think I had to share the same air with him at blade.
 
There is an around 115 page thread on the very subject in another area of the forum, also if you go to reviews/feedback and The Hall of Shame there is also another, more family version... ;)
 
Liu Kang basically charged exhorbitant outrageous prices on knives and people bought them, and he made a lot of money. Along the way he was really rude to a lot of people.

I don't have a problem with people making money but I do have a problem with them being a douche along the way.

I think that about sums it up.

OK now that we all have the history lesson back on topic. Is he now posting auctions from like 4 different accounts? That person is a total scammer too. Look at how they have had those accounts for years. Always planning ahead.
 
Just did some research. No, that is not Dan.
I actually talked to Dan at KC and gave him props for finally doing what seems to be totally legit sales (on the sight that should not be mentioned).

Bro you made a remark recently about the drama going around, this thread is asking for all that and some. Flush this turd. This the best week of the year for busse & its customers too. Not worth it.

We will have to disagree. Having 4 (or more) accounts on there is quite a red flag. So you are seeing some good feedback but who knows how many other accounts they have abandoned by now from bad feedback. Who would post 3 TGLB from 3 different accounts with the same background? And at the same price. And at the same time! You don't have to think they are a scammer but then again I don't think you plan to buy a knife from this seller.

In fact I didn't say anything about "drama". I commented on the "crazy" anti-Busse posts. But yeah I'm not trying to get a whole LK rehash going. Just curious if it's him since I see that seller posing LOTS of Busse blades and other brands Dan seems to like. What research did you do that convinced you it isn't him? If Roenman is right about the Tun-Chun account, then it is him posing from those other accounts.
 
Maybe you think it's not him because of the location of the seller? People fudge locations all the time if they don't want people knowing who they are. I have received a few packages from totally different places than the auctions stated. Notice 2 of the TGLB say one location but the 3rd doesn't even say where the seller is? Then the other auctions under Tun-Chun say Penn which I think is where LK is actually. Memory could be wrong on that though.
 
I can think of a few reasons why someone would want to sell under diff accts but its not prudent to this juncture.
As for LK, to keep things simple (on phone n drunk) just not feelin it man. Could be wrong but will ask him Friday to his face. Regardless, paypal has you protected and im willing to bet if you buy from that seller you will receive as advertised.

Yes Jerry, he trolls the EX looking to buy cheap and offering to sell his gear to the unsuspecting. He has been banned now under a number or user names but like herpes he flairs back up ...

I always feel a little conflicted when these threads come up, as back around 2010, Dan provided my gateway drug to INFI: my CG NMSFNO.

I got what I still consider to be a fair deal (I think it was $400 + shipping), and the transaction was quick, clean, and hassle free.

As it happens, I never had further dealings with him, but I watched kind of puzzled over the next couple of years as things went sideways.

I guess I'll just consider myself lucky. That NMSFNO is probably the last blade I'd ever get rid of...

Sounds pretty objective to me.

He badgered, pushed, weaseled his way into knives so he could turn around and sell them at a massive profit. I think a lot of us thought he was a d-bag in private but were reluctant to say because he got along so well and people jump to someone's aid without knowing any of the facts on the inter webs.

His prices were high, at times and for some things. But it was his buying that gave him the bad rep.
 
Once again, I'm not trying to rehash old LK crap here. Please refrain from posting if you have no opinion on the topic. Just trying to get peoples ideas if all those sellers are one and the same. Are these all LK accounts? Does it seem like it to you?
