Is this lockup normal? (Question Answered!)

I posted in a different thread that I bought an Umnumzaan Tanto new from TNK. It just arrived today and it's kind of stiff (but I figure that's to be expected for a brand new knife). My only real concern would be the lockup. Is this lockup normal? It's pretty late, and I'm wondering if it's typical of CRK (or of Umnumzaans). This is my first CRK, so I'm not all that familiar. Thanks in advance!

Looks fine, and it's not late. Look where the forward-most extremity of the ceramic ball at the front of the lockbar sits on the blade tang - it is not late at all. With the ceramic ball interface of the Zaan (and 25/inkosi) the right edge of the lockbar (looking at your pic) is not the point of contact with the blade - the ceramic ball is, and it's a bit further left of that point.

^^^ What Officer's Match said . Look at it from this angle to see where the ceramic ball ends up. 50% - 75% is normal.

Thanks for the replies, guys. Even though I've been doing this for a year and a half, I'm still extremely new to all of this... And that shows in my understanding of the terms "early" and "late" lockup. I appreciate the responses!

EDIT: I should add, I meant my understanding of the lockup on CRKs is lacking!

No. It's way out of spec. Please send knife to me for proper disposal. I will even forward adequate postage and handling. Please advise...;-)
