Is this mark/burr normal on a new Ka-Bar?

I just received a new KA-BAR USMC knife and it has this mark on it, I guess I will call it a burr, a bump just above where any sharpening may be done. Gun guy new to knives but I also have the big brother KA-BAR that has no marks similar to this that I can see. Am I just being anal or should I return it?

Any replies appreciated.

Looks like just a little drip or something in the coating. I SOOOOOOOOOO would not worry about that, but if it bugs you i bet Ka-Bar would exchange it.

Thanks Bigghoss. I thought it was a non-issue but just making sure being I'm a newb to blades. I'm going to be attempting my first knife sharpening with these so we'll see how that goes. Hopefully the tri-hone arkansas stones I got will work well with this steel.

Just for the heck of it I went and looked at my two brand new KB's and one 15 year old one. On mine there are several spots just like yours, though smaller. If you look really closely you'll likely see that the whole blade has a bit of a texture that looks like that dot but smaller and you'll probably see several other tiny bumps.
