I ordered a couple of knives from Knifezilla a while ago.

I got the confirmation e-mail on Sept. 26, and had sent the check before that.

It's now October 7, and I haven't gotten anything yet. Thier site says they deliver internationally, and usually within ten days to all locations. I live in Hawaii.

Being a little hasty, I mailed them the check the night I ordered it on the site. Unfortunately, I forgot to write the "Dept. KZ" part of their address on the envelope. Will they still have gotten it?

So, what should I do? Keep waiting for something?

I'm getting tired of my crappy one that's so dull that I can open it holding the bite handle and not get cut.

Hi,

Try to contact Josh at josh@pvknife.com, i'm sure he'll be able to help you.

All my transactions with pvknife/knifezilla have been great. Haven't encountered a problem shipping to the Philippines.

Dragon, I bet you will have your package in a few days. I have ordered a few items from PVKnive and it usually takes around two weeks for them to arrive. Figure 4 days for your check to get there, a few more days for them to process the order, and 4 or 5 days for regular airmail to get back here. This is if you sent a money order. If it was a personal check, add ten days for it to clear the bank before they will ship the items. But, you will get them.

You should have gone with a money order.

Paying with a check is probably the slowest way of taking care of your order. Businesses will always wait for them to clear before processing.

I wouldn't worry though, they'll take care of you. You'll just have to wait a little longer.

Ah...blessed reassurance.

My parents are too paranoid to use thier credit card.

Well, time to kick back and play with my cheapie while I wait. I'm sure it'll be worth it...

Heh...went to a martial arts store in Chinatown today, and got a cheap "Made in Taiwan" kubotan and one of those nifty keychain balisongs!

The thing is better quality than my current one.

Sweet...it came in today!

Josh was extremely helpful too.

Actually, I got the wrong Jaguar model, but I'm not complaining.

Not always. We ship a lot of knives even before we take the check to the bank. The banks are pretty strict about bounced checks now a days, often charging a $25 fee or higher. So it does not make much sense that someone will bounce a $7.95 check on us. If people refuse to pay the fee, then they get reported to a central check clearing agency, and that makes it very difficult for them to open up another checking account in another back. Of course with bigger checks we are a bit more cautious. Thanks, JohnR7
