It's not really what we discuss here ordinarily but as a conversation piece due to its connection with Opinel we can allow some leeway...
 
I've seen a lot of commemorative Opinels but this one is certainly unique. I thought that the Opinel aficionados might enjoy the photo. The title was intended to be playful - it certainly isn't the usual traditional pattern.

Supra, I can't modify my Opies as far as you went with that first one.
But I like it even though looks like it'd be dangerous trying to lick the
peanut butter off.
Have No.6 carbon as 1 of 2 main EDCs, like the olivewood and oak too.

It was a commemorative that was manufactured by Opinel, not modified.

I use the no 13 for peanut butter - I like a LOT of peanut butter. ;)

You did a nice job reshaping and refinishing the handles! I haven't done any Opinel modifications yet but I would like to try my hand at carving one of the "ebauche" handles.
 
I located the paperwork for the knife and thought I'd add a scan. I actually started typing the text into Google translate before I realized that the other side was in English! :o:D
