Is This Possible?

I am thinking of getting a Semper Paratus sheath (I have a nylon sheath fetish, don't ask  ) for my EU-17 magnum but I have a few questions. Is it possible to get a piggy-back attachement for a Clip Point Badger Attack? What do you think of this idea? Also, I would still want a gear pouch for my sharpening stone, Ferro-Magnesium, and Mag lite Solitaire. What do you think of this idea? I realize it will be quite heavy but it would be highly effective, in my opinion.

I want to hear your opinions on this. Thanks for the help.

Sounds good, but not very practical. Waaay too much iron on one side. Better would be say the 17 with accessories on one side, the BA with light attached on the other.

Better yet is a load bearing belt with suspenders from Tactical Tailor. I have on mine a S&W Mod 41, SHBM, PSK, first aid kit and canteen. Super easy to grab it and go. I have it where it rides below my pants belt and it doesn't interfer with stuff I have on my belt (too much) if I had to grab it in an emergency. Normally, it's either one or the other, but not both at the same time.

Excelent point Rob, I never thought of the weight. The EU-17 Magnum is heavy enough when lugging around 40-50 extra pounds of "stuff" through the woods.

I checked out tactical tailor but do not have the cash ($180US) for this system. It is awfully tempting though.

Rob's solution sounds like a good way to go. Even weight distribution can be a challenge, but it's well worth the effort and expense.

Have you contacted any sheath makers about your plans?

They might be able to shed some lights on any weaknesses and strengths.

Thanks for the advice. That is my next course of action.

Mike, I sent you an email.

For the smaller knife you could always consider carrying it horizontally across the small of your back, or upside down on one of the straps on your pack.

Whoops! My bad I think. Just found the tag that came off the belt and it is from CQB Solutions. www.cqbsolutions.com I THINK the suspenders came from the same place, but I can't remember. I do remember you had to call up and give the measurements. The belt and suspenders were seperate, but both came out to about $55 total.
