Is this possible?

I've been thinking what would be the perfect knife for me and came up with a bastardize Spyderco. It would be the blade of a Salt 1 with the Handle of a Pacific Salt. The lenght of the blade of the Salt 1 is perfect for me but I find the handle a tab bit too small. Switching it for the Pacific would be perfect for a better grip. If this is possible has anyone ever tried it?

Would be pretty interesting to see if it works. Probably a lot of work to get it to fit right though.

Well, looking at my Pacific and Tasman (which shares the same handle dimensions of the Salt 1), it'd be a tight fit. or should i say *loose* fit, the blade and lockbar are slightly thicker on the Pacific, the blade pivot and lockbar pivot points are in the same location on both, the Boye dent on the Pacific is set further back, so the Salt 1 lockbar wouldn't be centered in the dent in the handle

it's possible, but would require some work

I was hpoing to hear that a simple swap would have worked as that would have been the perfect knife for me. Oh well... Are there plans for any other H1 designs?
