Is this price list a joke????

I called the 888 number to ask what the deal was, and it was to a doctor's office. They said that the guy listed on the site is a chiropractor in NM, and no longer in that office. She offered to give his new number. I declined, figuring that if he still has his site showing the old number, he probably doesn't sell any of the knives there anyway. Those sure are some wild ones though:eek:. If he is selling them at that price, I'm in the wrong business.:p

They would appear to be similar to the work done by Santa Fe Stoneworks.

Ahhhh, so these are stock knives with fancy turquoise handles and enlays by this other guy at Stoneworks. It says nothing about that on the page nor does it have a link for the homepage. How would someone know?

John in Boise, thanks for clearing up the mystery for me.

Here's a link to their knife page.. Makes much more sense. This guy really ought to have a link back to his knife page from his price list. I found the above link by just going to the main www.huntingthesouthwest.com part of the link, then clicking on Shopping icon, then Knives icon.

Although, for my personal taste, I still see nothing that would justify prices like those for otherwise everyday Buck knives. I've been wrong before (lotsa times) , but I can't imagine too many folks springing for these knives at these prices.

John in Boise, rather spend the money on a custom with a plain handle.
