Ok i got this knife in a trade yesterday in San Diego form a guy, he tells me its a BUSSE INFI neck knife he says there are only 2 proto types made a guy named Pierre he said was sales guy for BUSSE had them both and they were not sharpened he said he had Pierre have the one that he gave to him sharpened. and not that's the one i have. i am skeptical for not knowing much about BUSSE knifes. there are no markings on the knife but he tells me if i bring it to some one who knows BUSSE knives they could tell it INFI by just looking at it. thanks in advance for you guys help

That looks like a Police Recruit that has been stripped. If that is the case it could be A2 or INFI.

Top knife.

Those came out in both A2 and Infi. The Infi blades have a larger center hole, like the one that you picture.

As others have noted, this was a regular production knife. Yours may or may not be a prototype, but there were far more than two made. Not all of them were issued with black coating:

I'd hope it's at least A2... No point what so ever in a low carbon small knife....unless I guess it's just for collection purposes

assault shakers, skeleton keys and maybe the 3 finger knife are all good small knives that would probably make good neckers.

As I remember, 73 in that batch, the only INFI Police Recruits, notice the larger center hole.

At least 10 factory Bead Blasted, and ten with the Then New Crinkle Coat maybe.

Note, it appears the variants have the three same size holes, My Son's Variant was the first and it also has the same size three holes.
