This Camillus folding rigger passed through eBay the other night.

The tang stamp appears to read: CAMILLUS / STAINLESS
The "birds-eye" rivet washers and the flat-strap bail are all fashioned from BRASS ! (?)

Has anyone seen this variation before?

Where DOES this knife fit into Camillus production?

Looks Camillus to me.
Are you sure the Rosettes (Pivot washers) & clevis (bail) are brass & not tarnished nickel silver?

Here's two more photos -- showing the other side of the blade and the closed knife, obverse side.

Phil: Tarnish you ask? I guess I didn't know that nickel silver could be THAT tarnished :(

I'm emailing the guy that was selling the knife. I'm sure he's already shipped it but I'll be interested to hear his opinion.

If stored in a leather sheath, Nickel Silver can indeed tarnish worse than that!

I never have heard back from the eBay seller of this knife.

I guess without any "evidence" in hand other than these photos we'll have to "conclude" that this is just probably a Cami 695 with badly tarnished NS parts.

 :(
