Is this rust? How to remove

Just got this “LNIT” gec 86 and noticed some rust ? On the back of the blade/pivot area. Any suggestions on how to take care of that? Super hard to get into the small opening. This is a stainless version too.. so im confused. Tried to get a good pic

Stainless will still rust, but in this case I don't think it's rust, but rather color from heat treatment in an area that wasn't finished or polished. Don't worry about it.

Where that’s at it isn’t rust. And it isn’t anything to worry about either. Oil the pivot and call it good.
