I just stumbled upon a Strider PT and since I am not familiar with this brand and only started collecting knives a few years ago, I am unsure about its authenticity.
The knife arrived in my hands in a "custom" form, which was with a white micarta scale and a metal backspacer installed, but the 1st owner also included the original G10 scale. While the custom fit and finish was good, the micarta scale was a little bit broader than the G10 scale, with the pivot screw looking deeper seated in the scale socket. The blade also has an orange peel finish.
As the knife was in a neglected state, I disassembled it, cleaned it, and put back the OG scale. All the parts were pretty flush when mounted back, with the screws quality good. No blade play from the blade whatsoever, but the stickiest lock stick I ever saw in such a tiny knife.
The first owner bought the knife from a small cutlery store in France, the Sevilla Cutlery. The owner (called Luc of La danse des lames) had a solid reputation among the french knife online community but couldn't make his business profitable and had to close shop. I have a detailed invoice for the PT sold for about 500 USD in euros.
Enclosed are several pics of the knife. Thank you in advance for your inputs, and please excuse my english.
