My wife took me to lunch yesterday and because I had never been to the restaurant she ordered the appetizers! ?

The wait person brought a plate of some sort of deep fried meat product....

It was served with GRAVY AND MAPLE SYRUP?

Has anybody else eaten double dipped, DEEP FRIED BACON?!!!!!?!!!!!

ROLL ME IN A BLANKET AND PUT ME TO BED!!

That was some PUMPKIN!!!!

WHEN DID THEY INVENT THIS DELICACY?

We had an order of about 8 thick strips. We each had one, the rest came home.

With the syrup, it has sort of a haunting flavor!

You go by the refrigerator, and tear off a bite. Then drip some syrup on it. By the time you are in front of the TV, the whole thing is chewed and swallowed.

But then there is that flavor that makes you want some more.

Next thing you know you're armed with the jug of syrup and a roll of paper towels,surrounded by dogs and kids all wanting a bite!

Awesome stuff!

Please tell me they serve this somewhere else!

The place where this food is served is called, "The,Wyoming Cattle and Creek Company"

It is on the appetizer menu as "Chicken Fried Bacon". As I remember the wait person described it as, " .....double dipped by hand and deep fried to a golden brown..."

If I knew how to post the address using my phone I would, but it is advertised on the Web for any who are interested.

Or maybe those folks who have fryers can try this at home? Please let me know how you like it. Better doing it at home any way so you can use your own favorite dipping substance.

But Deep fried Bacon ??? Dannn why didnt I think of that lol fry Bacon in Bacon (lard)....
