Is this the only version?

I was showing off this one today to a friend of mine when a thought occured to me. Did Buck ever produce this pattern in any other form or version? As much time as I spend fishing the bay and other sites, I don't recall ever seeing any but this version.

Hi Dave,

I love the stag on that knife. I do find the overall shape to be a bit odd, but it's still a very cool knife. I have seen that knife with wood handles before, I think in Oak.

It is a strange looking blade, a little like a "fantasy" knife. Maybe that's why you don't see too many if any of the same pattern. The stag is supposed to be Sambar and it's a lot nicer than the sambar that I got when I ordered it on a custom shop 110.

Dave,

Can you do a photo of that knife with another Buck knife or two for size comparison value. I have always been curious about the size of that issue.
Thanks for your time and awesome photo's!

Thanks jb, here's a comparison photo with a 110.

Thanks Dave,

That would make one hell of a nice deer skinner! I don't like an over size blade for game field work and have found at least for me the 110 size to be the best and that knife would fill the ticket very nicely. Nice score, now I will have to find one;).
