Hi i was just wondering if this is the rigt sort of pump to get for stabilizing wood
http://www.enviroequip.com/sales/handpump.htm#Ordering Information

"These durable pumps easily and quickly attain and hold vacuum of 635mm Hg. New vacuum trigger release requires only one hand to operate and releases vacuum with the touch of an index finger. Adjustable vacuum release rate controlled by a lever on the pump."
Anyone got any links to the proper ones if these are the wrong ones to get
Maybe in Australia too

It looks like the hand vaccum pumps we are getting .I am not sure about the metrics, but if it is equivalent to 28-29 hg in american then it will work.I use a electric one as it is easier. But the hand pumps will work.

That looks like the one I use except I have the gage on mine. One thing always keep the pump higher than the container you are vacumning. That way if foam or liquid gets in the line you can stop pumping. The acetone will ruin your pump.
On my second one
