Is this the sprint run CF Civilian?

Has anyone purchased from this dealer before? What was your experience?

They don't mention if the items are in stock or expected "soon." Also, their prices overall appears to be on the high side.

I think this needs to be checked out further by Spyderco fans.

I can't advise you on thid dealer. Its the 1st time I have run across them. What I do know is none of my orders for the CF Civilian (4 versions in all) have been received yet. I have an order of 15 pieces that may ship to me as soon as 12-18-00 but that remains to be seen.

As far as the price its about $20 over MSRP by what I have been told but then a fair price is what ever a buyer is willing and able to pay. Since there will be so few of them produced (approx 500) and the prospect that the majority of them will be tucked away into private collections, I wouldn't be at all surprized if the secondary market price reached $300 very quickly.

Consider the retail price difference between a Cricket and a CF Cricket of $50. Now the same comparison on the Civilian.....Only $18. I am personally very surprised the retail price wasn't over $300.

I think Sal may have just given us all a really wonderful Christmas gift. Your thoughts?

Sal, I personally want to thank you for not only making the CF Civilian a reality but for the very reasonable price. The CF Civilian was born here on this forums and I get a warm fuzzy knowing I watched it happen.
