Saw this on another forum, made by a maker named Joost (JF-Knives):

Here it is being used to clean up a small part:

I don't know much about the maker or his work, other than he's from the Netherlands and seems to have some skills. Thought you guys might enjoy.

Kind of makes me want to build my own! Maybe a mini-grinder challenge? :D

that is really cool and impressive but you probably have to use a new belt every 2 minutes :)

I watched the first video and thinks - "that's slick, but no use for anything". Then watched the grinding video and thinks "that would work slick for folder making."

Is that a 1X30" belt?

I have a Wolf 1X10" belt grinder for my jewelers bench. It does an amazing job on small stuff. I posted a thread about it years back.

Here is a video about the Wolf 1x10":

Herearesome cool tgreads on mininstuff:

Same here, hahah. I bet it'd be pretty slick for miniatures too. As for the belt size, he doesn't say, but I'm guessing somewhere around 1/2" x 18"?

Yep, you're right the belt size is the 1/2"X18" range. He says powerfile belts are used.

Very cool. That would most definitely be a benefit for small items and folders. Look behind his speed control. Looks like a articulating arm tool rest!
