Is this Trail Hawk ground correctly?

Opinions please. This is a Trail Hawk that I bought recently for some fun. It looks like the bottom edge is ground too far back.

Is it just me or is this common?

Looks fine to me. Many if not most old fashioned axes and tomahawks have the edge tipped back a bit. Those that don't tend to look a bit odd, at least to me. The original that the Trail Hawk is based on is tipped back, I believe.

It may be more "period correct" that way true, but it seemed to me this one was more extreme than others I've seen posted lately, hence my question. I think it's a little too much personally, but if it's the way they all are, I'll just deal with it and move on.

I would prefer mine to look like that, in the arc of your swing more of the edge will meet what you want to cut.
