Is this what I think it is? Identification help?

Okay guys I got a chance to snap this up and I jumped on it, I just worry I might have been a little hasty. I believe I stumbled across a C01 Spyderco worker, but I'm not sure since the handle scales were engraved. If anyone could help me that would be amazing, I'd be stoked to have found a classic spyderco.

Honestly I have no idea sir. The man said it had something to do with the boyscouts but it appears to say R.H.B. in cursive engravings

It sort of appears that it was dated June of 1983, and number 6 of 48. My guess is that RHB is the person's initials

KA7ISB looks to be a ham radio handle and the owner seems to have initials that match what's on the scales.
