Do you find yourself feeling you face to see if you can shave yet? I do. Its almost embarrassing, but I can't go a day without shaving now:o Yes my results with the DE vary from good to poor but acceptable, but the joy of shaving right now is just to good to pass up.

You guys are all a bunch of pushers:grumpy:

Thanks:thumbup:

:D

yes, I faceturbate a lot ;) I find I'm not going all the way with baby butt smoothness just so I can get a decent shave the next day..
Shaving traditionally really is a pleasure to do for me.. something calming only for yourself, in a busy and distracting world.

im not that far gone but i do make sure to shave about every other day

i can seee it now i ll need to start making non sharpened razors so you can lather up and "shave" right after you have shaved witha honed razor :)

I found it addictive when I first started where I would shave every single day, now the novelty has warn off I suppose and I shave maybe once a week or so.

I love shaving with soap, brush, and straight razor. Don't get to do it much though, I can only do so on the weekends. Being a new father has left me without enough time in the morning for my favorite ritual.

I find everything I'm interested in addictive :D

For a while now that's been knives, optics, game fishing and recently shaving. I've always been interested in keeping up to date with the most recent news and enjoy reviews and photos of people's new toys and gadgets.

But with shaving, you are kept really busy keeping up to date trying to select the cream of the crop. If you bought most of the equipment and accessories available you'd fill the house with stuff so I have great fun following people's selections which match up with my choices and then maybe going with that - after reading all the info and searching out the best shops.

So it's addictive in that it's good craic as much as the fact that you need the bits and pieces, anyway.

Yes in addition to faceterbating, I find myself falling asleep to thoughts of what razor, brush, soap and aftershave I'm going to use the following morning. :o

I only have one razor, one good soap and one brush, so the only choice I have to make is what blades to use and after today I think I have settled on the Dorcos, very forgiving blade and no problem going BBS every time, just takes an extra pass or two, but that's OK more time shaving:thumbup:

That would be the cream of the crop of the cream? (Sorry... couldn't resist.) :D

Could be soap too :D

When I wrote that I knew it was a bit weird but still waded on. Funny enough it was another cream of the crop which was to blame ;)

But even with a fresh head this morning I still agree that what attracts me to the shaving shops and internet forums is the desire to find the best item. For me, that includes soaps, creams, razors, blades, brushes, oils, gels, balms or whatever.

I'm not saying I have it all down yet, anything but. There's always going to be products I'll never get the chance to try out for whatever reasons but I have had a whole lot of fun getting to where I am at the moment, everything has been positive. The ongoing piece of it is that I also have my list of stuff which I still have to get my hands on yet as well.

I guess my favourite bit of it is that there's always something to look forward to trying out later.

Yes. I find it so. It's perfect "me" time. Calming. I shave at night, after work. That way, any irritation is much better by the time I go to work. That and the fact that I'm not awake enough to put a blade to my face in the morning.
