If you were only alowed to buy one more knife in your life ,what would it be. My vote would be a chris reeve sebenza because its built to last a lifetime.

My wife would throw a party:eek:

I would buy the most expensive collectible kife I could find, so that I could resell it later and buy three or more knives that I would rather have:D

Ditto with me. I think I told her a couple knives ago that it was the 'last one'. Don't think she belived me then either.

Because I don't think along the lines on not buying any more, I don't know which knife would be my last. But, I guess if I have to, I'd go with an auto by mirotech/protech or some such OTF. It'd be a hard decision.

Wait -- you tell your wife about your knives?? I pull the Clinton: if she don't ask, I don't tell. (Then again, I'm not buying custom blades yet.) And if she does spot me with one and ask whether a knife is new, I say "Oh, this knife? I've had this one for years." ;)

If I had to decide on one last knife, it would be between 2 knives.

I would either choose a Carson M4 with damascus, pearl, engraving, the works. Or I would get a gents knife from Tim Herman.

Both of these gentlemen have become good friends to me over the years and both are amazing makers. I would want these knives to remind me of the friendships and to have a truely wonderful piece to pass down to my kids (if i ever have any) in the future.

If I were going to be perfectly honest, if my plane had crashed flying home form Blade Show 2001 I would have died a happy man. I came home with this...

Don't tell my wife, but everything since those two knives has been gravy. ;)

LOL! My wife saw this thread and quipped "there needs to be a support group for bladeforum wives":D :D :D

You don't think she really *believes* that, do you? :D

hahahahahahaha in France we say :" as long as you F***k them good they're never really mad..." ;)
but if I had to buy the last one? hmmmm...Busse Steel Heart Fusion...:D

one last knife?

ANOTHER DUNCAN AFTERSHOCK!!!!

this time in all carbon fiber. i'd probably edc it since my green canvas micarta one (i call it "green destiny", yeah, i'm a cheeseball) is way too pretty :D

What an awful thought!

It would be an easy choice...a small Sebenza. It's the single most useful knife I've found.

One more? I would love to get a Ken Onion Spade with a frame-lock and S30V blade...

If I were only allowed to purchase one more knife in my life my brain would explode. There is no way that I could make up my mind. That scenario would really suck.

Hmmm... good question... still pondering...

Ok, I think that, if I could only buy one more, it would be a Swamp Rat Desert Battle Rat. I have read wonderful things about that company and they have an excellent warranty. The knife has features that I like, in terms of blade/handle materials and they look like comfortable users. I'd get the tan version because it would be a pleasant change from the standard black blade/handle that many knives have. So, that's my one pick.
