Is your Ka-Bar Mule sheath messed up also?

I just got my black plain edge Mule a couple of days ago and have been using the pocket clip. I like this knife even though the blade could be a bit longer. I also have no weight complaint as I have so often heard. Basicly, It's a good hack around user, but........ I cannot pop my sheath clip snaps togther. I'm talking about the main snap on the pouch just under the strip of velcro. I took off the pocket clip, put the knife in backwards , sideways, upside down. did damn near everything but toss it in the air and sheath catch it. No go, I cannot pull the cover down far enough for the snaps to engage. This sucks because the sheath design rocks. If I'm doing something wrong, I can't see it. Anyone hear of misaligned top snaps on these sheaths?

I haven't had a problem but mine is one of the first generation ones without the clip. They may have made some changes since then.
