after my wife left for work this morning, I got a call from a guy saying my wife needed me to get her out of the water she was in
it's seems she came up to a flooded part of the road far to fast and went right in..and the car was dead
I got my 4x4 GMC and headed out (with some shoes and socks for her just in case.)
I came up to the part of the road and looking about 1000 ft up the road across all the water there was my car on the other side, yeahup about 1000 ft of road under water a good 1 - 1 1/2 ft of it deep.

by the time I got there she had pushed that car the rest of the way through it.. I guess that's what adrenaline does for you..I got it running again but the mess inside sucks,, no fish though :grumpy:  :) she's safe but I'm pretty peeved she did such a stupid thing, it's a good way to get a lot dead real fast..

I'll leave the upset part to you two.

Just glad that she is OK. That was easily enough to send her downstream a ways at the least. ;)

you're just mad because you didn't get to use yer toys to rescue her....:p ....I'm sure she still considers you her knight in shining armor. :D

p.s. I got one of those too, DanG. I came out of my apartment one day (when we were dating) and she had installed a new bumper on my car for me (I had smashed it in a wreck and I had a new one sitting in the back of my car waiting for me to fix it). Well, after that...I knew she was a keeper.

I kind of did, I drove to the other side of it to get to her,, but I didn't have to get wet :D

fixing, instead of wrecking, yeahup you better keep her DanK :)

That's a mighty fine woman you got there, Dan. Glad to hear she is all right. Them women from Maine are pretty tough, you know! My wife went deer hunting with me once. When we got out of the truck I asked her where her gun was, and she said she didn't need one. Then when we were way into the woods she climbed a tree and told me to go on. I was confused, but went ahead. On the way out it was getting dark, and I spooked a buck down the trail ahead of me. The Missus jumped out of the tree onto the back of that big ol' buck and grabbed ahold of his horns. She rode him out to the truck, slit his throat, and threw him up on the bed.

She rubbed her hands together and said, "There you go. THAT's how we deer hunt in Maine!"

:D

My wife has a wild tail, but I won't spin any tales about that! ;)

a short tail poked at on ocation is fun but if you spin a tall tail to much
one can loose interest in it in time.
 rrrrr never mind  :)
