Marks probably enjoying himself too much right now to post :-)

I have 5 blades to HT tonight then so on......

Hopefully get a few hours to go for a 4-Wheeler ride scouting for Elk. I spent a lot of time last week doing that so the wife might have other plans for me.

Nothing much going here. Got a nice promotion at work....

Im working on a KITH knife. I screwed it up already, causing my ricassor to disappear as I messed with plunge lines. This one may become a shop knife.....not too happy about it, but oh well....

Other than that, prolly won't work on knives this weekend. Have to pack one up (that ringed gidgee one) and send it off to a customer, and I have a very challenging design that i may get started on. I am thinking of doing a real art piece, with a damascus blade and a nickel silver bolster that thins, then flows to the bottom, then across the scale and back up to the top like a tadpole's tail, ending with a rear bolster. This would be my ultimate test of patience......

Yesterday (Friday) one of my work pals brought over his new .17HMR and I mounted his new scope on it. We headed to the range and sighted it in, then we headed into the timber for him to try it on the intended game, squirrels. I just happened to drag along my .17 rifle and killed 3. One of them, he missed. His first lesson of the day was not to expect a second shot when you are with an old Indian and miss a shot at a squirrel. Especially when the old Indian has his crosshairs on the squirrel, too. Today was supposed to be shop day, but my squaw has informed me I am hers for today. It looks like we are going to another Heritage Day small town celebration. This evening, shop work on a couple of hunters. Sunday, it's going to be early morning squirrel execution day with my pal and and our rifles. IG, can you smell the squirrels frying?
