I've been rocking my 24 in the stock black kydex sheath with orange scales since I got it over a year ago. What I'd like to do is swap the orange scales for the black and add in some red liners. Problem one is I mangled the black scales I received trying out a mod, so I considered simply buying a new set. But I don't need to have two unused sets of orange scales laying around. If i go with the all black scales/sheath, I'd like to add in some flair with some red liners. Problem 2, I don't trust myself in finding the proper material and shaping it to fit without damaging the scales/knife in the process. Problem 3, I'm unsure if I would need new hardware, or what size to get.
How can I go about potentially donating a like new set of orange scales + a partially drilled set of black scales + ??? for a single set of black scales plus red liners?
