Issue with locked thread

I started a thread this morning and it was locked. I have a concern to raise to whoever moderates that thread that I need to take offline (at least off this thread). Whom do I contact?

BTW a moderator commented to the thread just before the thread was locked giving me the impression he had locked it. It turned out he's not even a mod of that forum. I see it's not the first time that there has been confusion over who locked a thread.

Checking "All threads by", THIS is the only recent thread by Dave Last which is locked.

I had read the rules and thought that my title and context were enough. Obviously it wasn't. Thanks for the guidance. Next time I post on Political (maybe next July 4th) I will put more in the way of commentary. Thanks for a great forum.
