My coworker made this nice leather sheath for my Busse Basic 4. The problem is the sheath is too tight and it is rubbing on the handle, refer to the photo. Some might say dont worry about it, but I am anal with my stuff. What do you guys think, should I not worry about it, ditch the leather and go Kydex or try and loosen the leather (not sure how to do it).

I bought the knife with the intentions of using it as a camp knife.

Your 2 cents is much appreciated.

Matt

Wrap the knife in saran wrap. Get the leather a bit damp and stretch the leather out a bit by taking it in and out a bunch.

Leather is pretty easy to fit. Kydex can do the same thing.

I just wrap once or twice with plastic wrap and leave it in the sheath overnight. You can do more layers if necessary, but be careful if you go too far you can't unstretch it.

Done the same as Gus here!!! Wrap well and leave in over night.

Wow I just looked at the pics! It like ruined the looks of your knife, don't use it no more.Buy one that fits.If the maker doesn't have your exact knife in stock then send it to him to get it right .
