Did the ones that made it out the door have a nice strong detent that it just cracks and flips out with authority?

I really like the change they made to the clip with the inset and ZT - 0777 in there. It reminds me of something like model numbers on the side of fighter planes or a CAGE code on military gear.
It gives it a bit of bad@$$ness without being tacky.

My thoughts exactly. It really didn't do enough for me to spend that kind of $$$, but seeing those photos has really peaked my interest. Yeah, doubt it would ever be a user.

It looks better in person than in my pics. It does have a strong detent. The lock bar doesn't stick at all. No blade play at all and that carbon fiber must be some stong stuff, there is no flex at all in it.
