My first Becker, a BK2.

Overall impressions of the knife are great.

The Ka-Bar BK2 arrived on Saturday. Without much field use it seems to be a very nice knife with a good sheath (partially, see below). It doesn't feel heavy for 0.25" thick knife. It's comfortable (even more so with the micarta scales) and comes with an even grind and very sharp edge.

When I have time this week I'll take some in action pics and post more experiences.

Hey delkancott, congrats on the great purchase! How do the micarta slabs feel? I really dig the look of them, might just pull the trigger on a apir when my BK2 arrives and I get fed up with the Grivory scales.
