My brand spankin new Emerson CQC7A is here and I'm really loving it already, everything is pretty much as perfect as it can be on a knife, save for the liner lock not going in as far as I'd like but we can't have everything. Here are a few pics for you guys, they aren't the best quality, but all I could muster. Thanks for reading :D

The lockup will get better as you use it. I have the same model and it's perfect in the lockup know. Great knife! congrats!!!:thumbup:

Nice! Where did you get it if you don't mind me asking? They are out of stock everywhere I have looked. I have a CQC-10 on order from Knivestown.com but they will not get any in until the end of July.

Thanks. Yeah it says they only ship to Canadian addresses on their website. It looks like they have the CQC-10 in stock too. I live in Maine - isn't that close enough?:D

Ya, the Canada-shipping-only thing is very recent. Too bad for you furriners. :D :p Jay has an amazing inventory. I shop W&W all the time. That's where I got my Mini Commander. I'm just dithering over pulling the trigger on a Mini CQC-15.

Expect the lock to get SUPER sticky over the next week or two as it breaks in. I needed two hands to unlock my Mini Commander during break in. Brand new out of the box it wasn't bad, but once it started to break in... WOW it was tight!

After the break in period the lock gets super smooth and easy to use.

thanks futz thats good to know, at least hard to unlock means hard to close on your fingers right?
