So back in Feb. 2012 I contacted Dylan Fletcher about getting a Bush Operator XL via a trade. He was up for it so I sent him the knife knowing it would be now be 5-6 months until I received his end of the bargain. At that time he was still dealing with the goings on from him being on Top Shot so I knew to be patient. Then the 6 month mark passed and after emailing I found out he was recuperating from surgery, so I was fine with a little more waiting. I should have had it by August but now I was told it would be Nov, then a few more weeks, and a few more and then the email came..."Hey bro, its done!", which had me ecstatic, until I saw the pic and saw that it had the wrong scales:rolleyes:. So I was told it would be about 6 weeks for him to make another with the correct scales and liners. So the 6 weeks became closer to 8 after he was slowed by a work shop injury but then the new "It finally done" email came....and done it was! It arrived and it is the nicest, best feeling knife I have ever owned. The size of the BOXL is perfect for any and every task I can imagine and the fit and finish it amazing. I am extremely happy with this knife and I now know why Fletcher knives are so sought after. Dylan is a master at his craft, but that isn't gonna stop me from poking a little fun at the wait time;) I can't wait to use this baby in the field if I can bring myself to dirty its beauty, lol. Oh, and Dylan, if you read this I thought you should know there was a 1-1/2" section of blade that was pretty dull:mad:;) Nothing I few swipes with a 1200 grit stone couldn't fix. I may have it convexed eventually, not sure. But seriously, my only way to get this knife was via trade so thank you Dylan and I hope you enjoy the Edmundson.
So here's a couple pics of it.

I love that moment. I'm going through the same thing. Either Friday or Monday (depends on when VA direct deposit hits) I should have a 1988 Rolex Submariner.

Who are you, Roger Moore?

Now that I think about it, that's right around the same time. Not sure if Bond wore a 5513 or a 16610. I know mine (16610) has a sapphire crystal though.
