It came in today

Perfect size, though im not sure if i really should have spent the $465 on it, bbbuuuuuuutttttttttt......I dont want to give it up.

This knife is awesome. great texture to the grips, smooth as can be. Everything screams over the top, top notch.

Is there a thread that discusses the history of the company and how the knives are made? I'd be interested to see what goes into them. I specualte that like the Fallkniven NL4 Frej there is a bit of hand finishing and fit. I don't know much but that Chris Reeve is held in high regard and was at least partially responsible for my favorite steel, s30v.

Also this is my first knife with something higher than s30v.

Updated the picture of the collection, I'm down my mini grip. My little sister had brought up needing a knife for general use, so i gave her the mini grip.

Enjoy! It's a a great knife, you will not be disappointed.

On history and how the knives are made.... there is a sticky in the CRK forum that talks about the history and on YouTube you will find a video (Meet You Maker) about how CRK builds knives.

I'm not dissapointed, the more i hold it, the more i love it.

Carried it already, rides real good. Gonna have to replace that mini grip with something and im eyeballing that BM 300-1 in the sale section pretty hard. Though i had thoughts on emerson.
 
Congratulations on obtaining this beauty, don't worry about the price in a couple of years it will be worth it! Actually it is worth it right now :D.
 
Oh, I love this knife to death, im in no rush to get rid of it, perfect size, feels amazing, ect.

I was having difficulty deploying the blade with the stiff detent, then I read how you're supposed to do it. Not like a spyderco. I was pushing in too much.

The videos were great. After seeing some of the fakes and how good they look, im glad i went through an authorized dealer. I don't think i would have been able to tell.
 
congrats man! what a start to a collection! wait a month or two and youll prob even like it on a higher level. My lrg seb w desert iron blew me away when I first received it BUT really took over as my favorite all time folder once I started to carry and use it on a reg basis. Lots os guys here say the same thing
 
Thanks! in about a week or two I will be placing an order with username chavez556 aka ATS Knifeworks for a small fixed blade so i can ad a custom to the mix
