They're about the same size and made for the same job. Which do you prefer more in a large, tough blade? Wear-resistance or shock resistance? Keep in mind that SR-101 will bounce off galvanized steel pipe and granite rocks with only so much as a dented and slightly chipped edge.

This is your second "which of these two equally perfect for the job knives is better" thread so far as I can tell.

SR-101 throws more sparks if you hit a rock, so the Battle Rat would be my choice.
 
Whichever one you can find! Good luck with that. I've had my eye out for both of those knives for a while and haven't seen anything lately. From what I gather, several others are doing the same, so you'll have some competition. Whenever one pops up on the exchange, which is rare, it gets snapped up in a hurry.

It's easier to score full-blown Busse's than it is to find Swamp Rat or Scrapyard blades nowadays.
