I have recently discovered the work of a group of Brazilian bladesmiths. These guys are amazing. Some of the nicest knives I have seen. I figured that some of the folks around here would like to check them out.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Ricardo Vilar at Blade 2003, he was one of the nicest makers I met at the show. Blade or Knives Illustrated did an article on his work not long before the show and I was impressed with them from the article, so I was even happier to get to meet him in person. Most definitely a class act.
