I've got my second Toughmudder coming up next month and put in 7.5 miles on muddy trails, jogged the entire thing. Love the feeling! I've got some blisters but oh well.

It was great to be back out on the trails again. I ran solo today. Beautitful trail that wrapped around a 170 acre pond. Lots of horse traffic so I had to dodge horse turds and lots of rain lately meant plenty of opportunities to get myself pretty darn muddy. Got in a wicked stare down with a ground hog that didn't want to give up the trail but other than that it was pretty quiet.

I love this break in the weather and am looking forward to hitting the trails more and more especially with the boys.

I did the entire trail with just my Boker subcom in my waste band and a bottle of water in my hand. Put an orange bandana on my head so I didn't get shot just in case :)
