Bill Siegle just sent me a picture of the finished product of a limited run he has done. If this is not mine it looks exactly like the one I'm getting. Talk about a beast. I just wanted to share with the class. The wait for shipping is going to be like torture.

How long is that thing? It looks like it could almost be called a short sword.

This topic title sounds like a fair warning- don't drop that on your foot!

Thanks for posting that link. Now I know why it reminds me of a sword- it's based on one!
With a little more curve that would almost be a mini-falcata. Anything it can't chop you'll probably need a chainsaw to deal with.

If that dull part of the knife was sharpened how often do you really think it would get used? It's the front parts that are useful for chopping and stabbing.

Quick question: Could that be classified as a bowie knife?

it sure looks like it was inspired by the swords of the spartans

I saw 300 twice in the theaters!

Awesome!

:)

Cool blade. I like it a lot.

Bill, when you gonna do one of these? :D

Hey, that looks like a cut/paste knife to me.:D

I can even see the white glue from here Guyon.:D

Then that would just be like what everyone else is doing wouldn't it?

Certain designs never go out of style. :p

Hey, I wasn't trying to crap in your thread. I like the Spartan. Mostly though, I'm drawn to the classic blade shape at the end and wouldn't mind having a shorter version.

I guess if you read it a certain way my reply sounded short... I just meant it's something different. I got Battle Mistresses, Dog Father, Battle Rat, and trailmasters, and all sorts of other good tough 9-10 inch bowie style knives... So it's sort of a been there and done that thing. This is truly unique. And I love knives that find a reason to be longer than 12 inches without actually being a sword.

This one does nothing for me but more power to anyone who is into something like that.
