It finally arrived

My First Production run BM42AS #492 finally arrived today and I must say I am very pleased. The blade on this one, unlike my other BM42 is RAZOR sharp, one light pass over the hair on my arm and instantly I have a bald spot. I have a few questions though: The box has worn corners, will this affect the value of this piece later down the line? Second, The annodizing isn't what I expected, I expected it to be solid blue/purple in color but it seems like it has a red/violet hue over the entire handle with the blue/purple under it. Is this normal? I can't tell from the picture of other ones.

Another question. I would like to put this into a display case in the poen position with handles open too, does anyone have an idea of how to do this?

Congrats to your collectible balisong acquisition.

I came late into fine balisong collection and older model Benchmade balisongs are difficult to find if affordable. By acquiring as much numbered BM42 as I can afford I try to compensate lost opportunities in owning collectible older model balisongs.

Pictures will be nice too.
