Check this handy little device out. Brilliant, no? If only someone had thought of it before!

Am I late in noticing this? Also, why didn't I think of applying the clipit concept to guns before?

All right, welcome to my "Kung Fu" academy!!!
Why did you go like this? (quote marks)
Because I'm not going to teach you little wussies "Kung Fu!" That's just what I told your parents so they'd send you here and I could teach you to KICK ASS!

Life is cool...
Every time I think I've seen it all, something like this shows up to remind me I've just scratched the surface.
This clip is tooo cool!

This idea on guns dates back at least several hundred years! It predates the invention of the holster. It was "rediscovered" around the 1930's,and is,as you noted, popular again now.A historian would probably give more accurate info.(HOWEVER,it took Spyderco to do it right!)

Keltec has offered clips similar to those for for their compact handguns for a number of years- FYI. Just for righthanded shooters

Not sure who was the 1st to apply it to HGs.

The original version (Brown & Pharr or something like that) of that clip came out quite some time ago (80's). It was better made than the current version. Still the latest rendition works as long as you don't breath too deaply.

Hey AlaChoctaw!
That sounds like another idea that keeps popping up thru history.

The neck knife.

Been around for a long time, just seems to go away for awhile, then inexplicably pops up again! I guess some good ideas just refuse to go away forever!

I remember custom versions of a clip in the grip from the 1960's. They weren't as nice looking though. Some consider it a great advantage to be able to ditch the gun and it's 'holster' in one quick toss.
