Box came from Tomars yesterday. I'm going to end up divorced. Sigh.

Step 1: Set up new bank account and have 4% of your check deposited to it.

Step 2: Use that money to order knives.

Step 3: Get the box delivered at work.

Step 4: Keep knife in car for remainder of work week.

Step 5: When wife questions "When did you get this one?!?" response should be "This thing? Man I've had this one 'for a while now'."

Step 6: Purchase more knives.

I have me some definite tweener love. The 15 is a great knife!

I have to stop, though. This has to be it for a while. That being said, I REALLY like the way it feels in the hand. I don't see how the 5 could feel better than this knife, or be better for game processing. This blade feels agile. In fact, it would make a nice fighting knife, I think.

Of course, at some point I'm going to have to get the 5 just to see.

Awesome knife... I keep mine in the kitchen, whether in the house or in the camp.

Now strip that blade for some extra slice and dice! :D

The whole "had this for a while now" only works a couple of times. ;) Now I've found it's best just to say, I'm saving for this one and when it shows up at home, it's all good.

BTW, congrats on the BK15! It's the best tweener out there. Definitely the one I use the most often!

The 5 is a bit much for detailed work. But it's a better tool than the 15 for slicing watermelons.

BK-5 = high performance butcher knife
BK-15 = high performance carving/fillet knife

With the two of them together you can do anything.

Ah so, the real motivation for stripping Becker knives and patinating them so they appear old has been revealed.
