It happened to me too

My seb 25 is too great, I carry it and it only now. The spyderco and ZT sit neglected. I'm selling the other knives.

my CRK sebenza 25 has been slowly taking over the pocket. I was skeptical when I first bought it, $465 for a knife? A knife????

But I bought one, I vowed that it would be in my rotation, after all it would be even crazier to buy a knife like this and never use it. Sebs are made to be used.

What I didn't count on was that this knife would slowly take over the rotation to the point where there is no rotation. I manage at a restaurant and I bought a spyderco pacific salt recently for the kitchen environment and it has performed well. I didn't want the expensive knife exposed to all that at first. But recently I stopped caring about that also and have been carrying only this seb25. My other knives are no slouches, a mini grip, pacific salt, ZT 0350, but they just don't do it for me. I was real close to adding an emerson to the mix. I'll pass. I'm sure its a fine knife.

Still not sure how I feel about the price tag, but I'm pretty sure about the knife. The whole thing is just so well executed its hard not to carry it. I think in the end, i wont have a problem with the money as long as i use the knife.

That's where it started with me. I got the 25 and another then another and another and... You get the idea. Great knife!

Yep, first it kicks the other knives out of your pocket, then it starts multiplying.

Once it learns your paypal number, it'll start inviting it's friends (some old, some new) over as well....then you are really done for.

Great knife to choose to take over your pocket! As you've already found out :)

Congrats

The 25 is my favorite CRK and I have had a few. The more you use it the more the price will be justified, CRK's are built to last.

Having sold my first 25 I'm planning to buy another at some point. I really have come to appreciate the great value CRK's offer.

My 25 went and found a Mnandi and brought it home. I honestly don't think I need another knife after having these two.

That being said, a tanto Zaan and an Insigno small sebbie would complete my kit.

I don't really get it. I am more into traditionals, and before I saw it, I would have said "all metal? no wood, or bone, or stag, not even brass? no thanks."
but there is something really compelling about these....It is beautiful.

Whether you collect them like I do or use them which is after all what they were designed for.. they are simply addictive! And of course as with any addicaton you always want just one more...;) I wont buy another Chris Reeve Knife.. I won't buy another Chris Reeve knife.. The hell I won't! :D

Great knife, well it is a CRK so of course it is great. And don't worry about the price, when you buy quality the price will be forgotten and if not forgotten you will just not care what you paid.

I don't see myself buying one of these, ever. I drive a $1,200 truck. I just can't see spending the money. but if I were a rich man....

Hey, I'm a 25-year-old kid that works retail, and I just don't spend unnecessary money elsewhere. It's doable, especially if you catch some good trades and can trade up in value. That's how I went from a $150 0550BLK to the Prestige-quality Will Moon Mk7 I have incoming.

(Of course, I won't actually be carrying the Mk7. I just had to finally hold one! ...and then immediately sell it because holy crap that is worth $1300 are you kidding me.)

I don't own a Sebenza, but I'll have to check them out eventually. The only thing holding me back is my steel snobbery and flipper fixation... S30V/S35VN and thumbstud-operated? Ehhhhh. I have a hard time going for one over a Gayle Bradley, but I do have to admit I've never quite warmed up to the ergos of the GB. I might have to clear out even more of my rotation than I already have and pick one up on the cheap (I'm forcing myself to not spend any more money than I already have into my current lineup. Investments and knifemaking tools are not cheap...)
