Love the old Camillus 41s. It has everything going for it. USA made. Single spring pen knife. Equal end. Inexpensive. What more can a man ask for?

Just the sort of knife my dad always carried. I think I have one too. Good vest-pocket knife.
I don't know about cheap, though. I think I had to save up for mine in the early 70s.

Knifewise, very little actually. Those old pens and small jacks that size were the backbone of knife use when I was growing up. Early on in life, I noticed the phenomena of the old guy with the pen knife. Of course they were not knife knuts, so they were just carrying a "pen knife" because that's what a man did in those days. A man carried a knife in one of the pockets of the pants he had on. It didn't have to be a very big knife, but since it was carried more than it was used everyday, it had to be easy to carry, like in disappear in the pocket until needed. Then he had a cutting tool when it came time to open a package that in those days was wrapped in white twine and heavy brown paper, open his mail, trim some fishing line, whittle a tooth pick after the box lunch church social. These days packages don't come wrapped in twine and brown paper, but we have the infernal plastic blister package. A small sharp knife is still a good thing to have in a pocket in the 21st century as the last century.

Sometimes you just have to cut something. Or as I was told growing up: it doesn't have to be big, just sharp.

That's a great knife for the pocket. What more can a man ask for? Maybe 2 of them?
