Brad, will you take me some high-res pics of the face and back of the 1421 you have so I can try to emulate the wave on the minty fresh 1420 I have

I know, its horrible to consider modding a collection piece, but all my efforts to get the right model have fallen short of success.
 
Don't do it J. Be patient. The Modified Talon was only made in the CE blade...

JC, the cuttingedge web site lists 4 of the 1421STs as being in stock.

Jaysknives lists a 1416XXL and a 1415 as being in stock. I've purchased once from Jay in the past and had fast service and got his last minty Mini Task.
 
Brad, the one I have now is a tip up ST already...it begs to be modded!

Thanks PG! Jay's has a lot of great oldies. I spotted a 1580MCST Boa there. That was a run of 311, and only made in 2002. My 1580MC PE needs a friend to hang out with!

That site is going to cost me a lot of money! $ 499.80 plus shipping to be exact.

I think Jay keeps his inventory up-to-date fairly well. If its pictured, he usually has it in stock (unless someone just ordered the last one and he hasn't had time to remove it).;)
 
Sorry about that, JC. They'd been up there for quite awhile, I guess they don't do a regular update to inventory.
