The new shop is almost ready, the new grinder has been tested and its 3hp motor is already making lots of steel dust and there are three 4 meter long K-100 steel bars on the floor to feed it!
After so long away from the knife business - it's been one year since I sold my shop and my only tie with knives were the show I organize - and having been through a very hard year, I felt particularly glad today for having been able to get back to do something I really liked so much and wanted to share that with you fellow forumites.
Hopefully, I'll have something to show late this month.

Good to hear from you, Ivan.

Take it easy, relax. You are among friends. :)

Welcome back!

While I never bought one of your knives, I sure thought about it. Sounds like you're going to start tempting me again with you work :D

Thanks for the warm welcome.
I really feel at home here at the Forums, even more so after a day at the grinder, just like in the old times! I'm still trying to figure out what I was thinking when I sold my shop and decided to stop working with knives... maybe it is one of those cases where you have to go around the world to just to find out that what you were looking for was right there in front of you all of the time. Well, some people can only learn things the hard way and I must be one of these...

this is great. i just got a small neck knife and was wanting to have something else made by you but i haven't seen much info lately on you. how soon are you taking orders? i love grinds and the japanese wrap that the little Estaca has

Hello, Clayton
It is nice to know you have one of my Estacas and is happy with it. I think it was Bryan Caffrey who nicknamed them "pocket prybar" and he coldn't have described these little knives better.

Welcome back Ivan!
Gus

Thanks, Gus
Hopefully, we will meet this year in Atlanta!

Let me know if I can help, just remember to mail early! :D
