It is raining ice here in Arkansas

I am not making this up, nor am I exagerating.


It is raining.

It is not snowing.

It is not sleet, it is not hail.

It is clear drops of frozen rain.

Bonafide ice storm.

When this happened last year, I lost power for 5 days...!!! :grumpy:


Fingers crossed that I'll do ok this time around!

good luck - we went through that 2 years back and went 9 days no power -- the local electrical co-op had to replace something like 1500 poles.

We had the same in here Italy also last week: quite common this year.
No problems with power outage but but dozen of car crashes.

The ice turned to snow early yesterday morning and now I'm covered in both!

People get kinda crazy around here when there's ice AND snow on the ground...!
