It Looks Like a Sebenza Competitor

I'm talking about the Quiet Carry Waypoint.
Yep, it has similar lines as the drop point version of the Sebenza.
However, it has that super rust-proof Vanax as its blade steel.
I've not seen one in person, so I'm very curious.
Do any of you have one?
What can you tell me about it?
Is it on the same level quality, fit/finish wise as the Sebenza?
Thanks all.

I grabbed a waypoint a few months back, and have been extremely pleased with it. One of my initial impressions was that it felt like it was a medium sized sebenza that I had long been hoping for. It is in the sweet spot size wise for me, and is an overall fairly thin knife for the titanium liner lock. I would highly recommend one for anyone that is interested. That said, it is probably not quite there with the overall quality and fit and finish of the sebenza.

I just looked at their web site. A few things I noticed. No lefty option (hate that!). They don't say where they are made. Not necessarily a negative, but why hide it? My assumption would because it's made in China. I know good knives are coming out of China these days, for example offerings by Spyderco, but they openly disclose where they are made and price accordingly. Additionally, they have a solid brand based here in the USA with a record of exceptional customer service.

I was tempted to order it but, from the videos I saw on Youtube, it looks too thin. I prefer something more hand filling.

The Waypoints cool but almost too thin for me, I have one, it's nice but it's not a CRK.

Incredible looking knife. So light and using a great steel.

I agree with the others that it's not quite on par with a CRK, but still a really good knife. I highly doubt you would be disappointed with the quality. It is noticeably thinner than a large Sebenza and almost identical in size to a Bugout. I have the stonewashed version and the titanium is very smooth, not grippy like CRK's blasted finish.

E Evany it's buried on the Materials page: "We are dedicated to making premium knives with a focus on intricate details and product applications. We use premium steels that are sourced from Austria, Sweden, and the United States. We manufacture parts in the country of Taiwan with multiple partnerships using only the best processes. Some processes are done in US such as finishes and heat treating."

I laugh every time I see a thread about a "XXX" competitor. As if BF members are not just going to buy both.....that's not competition, they both win.

And because they always kill my wallet.

they look nice but i doubt it would replace a sebenza.

maybe a drop point spydiechef competitor.
