It only hurts when I laugh!

I've read all your kind posts and want to thank all of you again. Those who took the time to call me at St. Mary's, those who took time to email me at St. Mary's, those who have called at home, written, sent cards, a special blessing to you all.

I honestly believe that I am here simply because people wanted me here and that I still have things left to do. Perhaps smoking a couple of packs of cigarettes each day is not one of them but that's okay. I have 52 years devoted to smoking and that is enough.

Special pujas were done for me in Nepal by family, friends, and the men of BirGorkha.
All of you sent prayers and well wishes. Sometimes prayers are answered.

And as I titled the post, it only hurts when I laugh!

Thanks again to the best bunch of guys in the world.

It's real good to have you back, Bill, but remember, we can get along a lot better with you resting up and recovering than with you overdoing it and having problems. Just take it easy for a while more. Don't overdo anything just now. We're all very happy to hear about a good prognosis. Just take care of yourself!

If the odds are a million to one against something occurring, chances are 50-50 it will.

As Paul said, Uncle Bill, please take it easy. I know that cigarettes are totally out, but is beer still OK? If it is, I'll ship you a six-pack of Abita tomorrow to help your recovery.

Damn, it's good to have you back!!!!

Well don't laugh.

A beer a day is suppose to be good for the heart. It helps to prevent arteries from being clogged.

Wonder what 3 or 4 might do?

Will

At St. Mary's the cardiac people let me drink a bottle of Heineken each evening!

Cigarettes are a thing of the past but 52 years of hard smoking is enough, I'd guess.

Thanks again to all for such great support!

I'm not working like I did before and will take it easier.

Hello Pakcik Bill.

I felt it was a very long wait to read your posting in BF! I guess ... for the time being you please take rest! ... & maybe you just have to smile & don't LOL!

NEPAL HO!

Glad to have you back, Uncle Bill.

Hope the surgery wasn't too rough.

No more cigarettes, perhaps, but now you have an excuse to drink more red wine!

Hopefully that is an OK trade.

-Dave
