but I finally made another Roach Belly! These are about 9" overall, with a 4 1/2" blade, 1/8" thick. I`m thinking about adding to my regular line, any thoughts?

Shoulda been part of your line all along! It's a wonderful knife.

Sweet. I think the JK Original is a take-off of this and also one you might want to offer. Mine is well-used.

I really like the looks of this John! stupid question, is this one spoken for?

This knife is incredible guys.

I'm not knocking John's pictures - they're quite good - but the pictures simply do not do this knife justice.

The knife is magnificent: almost primal and deeply satisfying to hold in the hand.

This one should be on your short list.

Hi John,
Do you have a price in mind for this model?? How about the Roach belly Lite?
Thanks Dan

I sent you an email over the weekend about these. Didn`t you get it? The price for the RB is $170, and the RBL is $160.

Got one ordered! Think it's a great combination of do anything knife and a great design once hunting season rolls around!

I ordered the full size version, but I bet down the road, I'll also have a lite and an XL for the kitchen! I know it's a tradional style pattern, but I love the canvas micarta handles because they just feel great, so I went with the Green Mircarta, with the large bolsters. I really think it will be a great knife. You have the narrow tip that is sometimes helpful in all tasks, field dressing animals included, and it has that curved blade that I am sure will cut ike a house on fire! Can't wait!

Hey John, AND anyone else wo knows knives better than me, or just wants to guess,
Just a quick question, let's say I ask you ( John) to change the blade length from 4 1/2 to 6 inches, on my current Roach belly order, but still keep the continuous curve that makes the blade cut so efficiently. How do you think that would compare with the 4 1/2 lenght for overall performance? What would be the advantages/ disadvantages?
Thanks
Dan

My original Camp Knife had a 6" blade similiar to the RB, and it was a slicer!
